Advanced MSK Assessment & Gait Analysis

Understand what is driving your pain —

and what needs to change to resolve it

Persistent foot and ankle pain is rarely random.

In most cases, it reflects how load is applied through the foot and lower limb — and whether the tissues involved have the capacity to tolerate it.

This assessment is designed to identify the underlying drivers of your symptoms, not just where they are felt.

What this Assessment Does

This is a structured clinical process focused on answering four key questions:

What tissue is being overloaded?
Why is that tissue being overloaded?
What mechanical factors are driving this load?
What capacity is currently insufficient?

Understanding these factors allows treatment to be targeted, rather than based on trial and error.

What Your Assessment Includes

Appointments are 60–90 minutes, allowing time for:

Detailed clinical and load history
Strength and capacity testing
Joint mobility assessment
Functional movement analysis
Video gait assessment
Pressure mapping

This approach allows us to understand how load is transferred through your foot and lower limb during walking and activity.

Why This Matters:

Rather than focusing solely on symptoms, this assessment identifies:

This allows a clear diagnosis and a structured plan for recovery.

What You Leave With:

You leave with clarity about your condition — and a structured path forward.

Who This is For:

This assessment is appropriate if:

Important

Treatment is guided by your assessment findings — not selected in advance.

Most patients improve through structured rehabilitation.

Other interventions may be used where appropriate, but are not first-line treatments.
